Welcome to our page dedicated to our bikes, currently a 2007 Honda ST1300 and a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C50T. We still have the 2005 Kawasaki Nomad, but the 1984 Yamaha Virago my wife was riding is gone, replaced by the C50T.
I have been riding for over 30 years, since I was a kid. Starting out riding various dirt bikes, moving to sport bikes, then to a cruiser in 2005. In 2009 I changed from a cruiser to a sport touring bike to better suit the style of riding I enjoy. I currently ride a 2007 Honda ST1300.
The Nomad had been modified and customized to suit the riding we do. The picture below is shortly after it was purchased. Click on the picture to see the list of modifications that have been completed and the ones that are in progress.
My wife was a passenger for the last several years until she decided to take the motorcycle safety course at the local college and get her license. This was an awesome program, teaching her to ride a bike in two and a half days, focusing on the low speed skills that are so difficult for first time riders. Once she completed the course we purchased the 1984 Yamaha Virago. This bike was in fairly rough shape, but the thought was to get something in a condition that it did not matter if it was dumped. Since then the bike has undergone an extensive rehab to bring it in line with what it should look like. We were never quite satified with the quality of bike she had with the Virago (likely primarily due to the age) so we upgraded her to a 2007 Suzuki C50T with 9800 km on it in September 2009.
